In order to provide you with mold quotes, we will need the following basic information:

1. Finished Parts:

a. Drawing, CAD file, or a prototype part.
b. Type of material of the finished part.
c. Surface finish or texture desired.
d. Lettering or logos requirements.
e. Tolerances required.
f. The type of data you will be providing. (ex. 3-D CAD data, solids, paper drawing, etc. We also offer a part design service.)

2. Molds:
You may already know all the requirements for the molds such as, type of mold material, mold base, gating, ejection, cooling, slides, lifters, etc. If have not determined these requirements, we will work with you to determine what suits your needs best. The following are things we need:

a. Annual quantities of parts. (This will determine the material we will use for the molds. Generally, molds are in the following categories.)

i. 100 shots (prototype)
ii. 1,000 (prototype)
iii. 10,000 (prototype)
iv. 100,000 (production)
v. 1,000,000 (production)
vi. 1,000,000+ (production)

b. Number of cavities
c. desired lead time
